Sea Turtle Hatchling HD Camera Feed Goes Live — Check it Out!

A high-definition, live-streaming webcam, aimed directly at a sea turtle nest on a private Florida Keys beach, went online last week — and the eggs are expected to hatch any day!

The camera is funded by the Keys tourism council, and serves as a reminder that we need to protect the five species of Florida-native sea turtles that are listed as either threatened or endangered.

Check out the live stream at the Turtle Cam page, and watch the video to see some turtle hatchling footage, captured by the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission in 2009.
