For 70 years, Yellowstone National Park was without its wolves. The ecosystem around Yellowstone, however, had evolved for thousands of years with wolves playing an essential role ensuring the health of the ecosystem. Their disappearance caused the delicate web of life at Yellowstone to be severely damaged.

When they returned to the park in 1995, the improvements to the park’s health were as incredible as they were undeniable.
