This Sinkhole Swallowed What?

A farmer in China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region lost 25 tons of fish when a gaping sinkhole opened up in his fish pond. All the pond's water drained out through the sinkhole, taking the fish — estimated to be worth about $75,000 — with it. Sinkholes are a frequent occurrence in the region, and villagers suspect that a local quarry is to blame.

Sinkholes don't just happen spontaneously. Check out this other video to learn the science behind sinkholes.
