A Rescued Baby Beaver Enjoying Pool Time Is So DAM Cute

Let’s talk about cuteness. There are levels cuteness that go from cute to mega cute to uber cute to SO CUTE I CAN’T EVEN THINK! Yea, this video hits all those levels and then some.

This little baby beaver was found at a golf course in Canada. The Alberta Institute For Wildlife Conservation is now caring for him until he is ready to be released back into the wild. He gets to be all safe and sound while he enjoys a nice cooling soak in a kiddie pool.

Here’s a fun fact for you about beavers: THEY USED TO BE ENORMOUS!

Although the beaver ancestor, called Casteroides, didn’t have the characteristic flat tail that we see today, the giant beavers of the Ice Age, looked remarkably similar. These guys were just much, MUCH bigger 😮 Casteroides grew to be up to 8 feet long and 200 pounds. Now that’s insane!

Check out the video below and enjoy this baby beaver just loving life.
